Hello Jill & Claude : Keith and I have been home for one week and we still can not believe what a fantastic time we had . The staff at the lodge were totally outstanding , we felt like Royalty , from the time we arrived to the time we left there was nothing that we lacked . We can't say enough about Keith's guide Garry or are guide Mark . Keith and Garry hit it off so good by the end of the week they were calling each other best buds . I have not seen Keith smile so much or so big for a very long time .
The places I went to with Mark were well past what I every expected , I did some very amazing things . I would highly recommend Mafigeni Safaris to any one . We are already planning to come back in 2 years time . All the best Keith & Janet

"Dear Jill and Claude,
We wanted to drop you a note to let you know what a fantastic trip we had on the photo safari in Tanzania. The arrangements were perfect and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating.
Our accommodations were all very good. It was so much fun to experience the different locations, people, food and country. The food was wonderful, especially the fresh fruit, salads and Allan’s favorite, the desserts.
We were fortunate to see the migration of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelle. There were hundreds of thousands. Of course we saw many other animals as well including leopard, lions, cheetahs, giraffes and on and on. Allan was especially pleased with all of the birds we saw and was able to get many excellent pictures of both birds and animals.
Again, all of the lodges were great but the last one was so unique; absolutely beautiful views, excellent food etc. It was difficult for us to leave.
This of course was our second trip with you, so we should not have been surprised that everything went so smoothly just as it did on our first safari at Mafigeni. We will be back for a third and can hardly wait.

"Well- I must say that I have just returned from one of the most phenomenal trips of my life time!! We left no stone unturned while in Tanzania!! I was blessed indeed to have the priviledge of not only seeing the "BIG FIVE" (lions, leopards, elephants, cape buffalo and rhinos) I was dead center in the middle of "The Great Migration" an unbelievable sight of 2 million wilderbeasts, 1/2 million zebras, Thompson Gazelles & Dik Diks... we were literally surrounded 360 degrees by running, undulating masses of animal life! A sight I will never forget and one that no camera could truly do justice.
The Serengeti Plain was a vast ocean of life and occasional death that will be forever etched in my minds eye! Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and The Graet Rift Valley were alive with herds of everything you could imagine! The rains had come prior to our arrival and that made everything lush and green and ready for the onslaught of eager eating masses of animals who would soon take the tall grass down to the nubs! It was a perfect time to visit as the weather and the animals were
most accomodating!!"

"Jim met Claude and Jill Kleynhans at the Toronto Boat and Outdoor show
during March of 2008. He booked a photo safari for himself and his 14 year
old grandson during December 2008. These guys had a fantastic safari, with
exceptional game viewing in Kruger National Park, experienced African
Wildlife up close and personal during nature walks in Big 5 private
reserves as well as at various Wildlife Rehabilitation centres and of
course, the local culture at Shangana Tribal Village. During their stay,
they were able to participate in a Nyala translocation program and assisted
the capture team in recovering darted animals and escorting the game to
their new habitat. We look forward to Jim and his Wife's safari in 2010!" |

“For the photo safari what sets Mafigeni apart from other companies we checked
into, is the flexibility offered and the fact that it was our own trip. With
companies that take larger groups you are forced to fit into their itinerary and
schedule and lose some of that flexibility. With Mafigeni, we were able to stop
and see what we wanted to see for as long as we wished. This flexibility was
ideal for photography. Also, without our guides experienced eyes, we would have

"Got back in the evening, California time, got up to run the boat on rough water. It
is hard to figure out where to begin. I think most basically, we had the greatest time
of our lives, thanks to you, your family and crew.Iam still dreaming of Africa each
night. You folks were really great to us. Some friends of ours cooked a whole 45kg pig
on a spit, Africa theme party, we had our 200 pictures about, raving about your
operation to over 50 people. We brought home some crocodile pate, impala pate, I
served whitetail deer hotlinks, bear linguisa and bear Italian sausage. If I write
